I just never really get tired of rhinestones . . . Love them on shoes, hair accessories, brooches, and necklaces.  When a favorite piece loses a few too many stones, or the back breaks off I’m always left wondering how I can still use all that delicious sparkle.

Last summer I rescued a few old, broken brooches and turned them into magnets.  It was the easiest project ever and I love the result so much that I’m sharing it with you!

All you need:

old brooch (or any other relatively small, sparkly object)

Glue gun

magnet ( I picked up a pack of 10 at Lowes, but I’m sure any craft supply or hardware store will have them.)

If your piece is a little heavy, or too curved for one magnet – stacking an extra works well.

Sooooo easy.
